We have the latest production of the long awaited and much missed Western Electric WE300B valves.
They have exceeded our high expectations by a leap and an effortless bound. It’s hard to describe quite how wonderful these valves are. Comparison with our benchmark WE300Bs from the previous production cycle shows that great progress has been made. Not that the old ones needed any progress. Perhaps it’s the graphene-coated anode, who knows, but the musical believability, emotional expression and easy dynamic volume of these valves moves your music into uncharted territory. Simply, wow!
The new Takatsuki Spring 2021 production 300Bs have a clean, ordered, beautifully proportioned view of their musical cosmos. This is a modern, open, wide bandwidth sound yet with grace, poise and impeccable manners. And just look at that build quality!
